The Mainfolk Migrator is a small, free WordPress plugin. Download the zip, it is all you need. You will install it on your WordPress site in the next step, so no need to unzip it.
- Download the plugin zip.One file, about 5 KB. Keep it somewhere you can find it, like your Downloads folder.
- That is the whole download.No sign-up and no key. You install it, click Export, and your site appears on Mainfolk.
Free and open. The plugin is GPL-licensed and does not add anything to your public website. It only runs in your WordPress admin when you use it.

This is the same way you install any WordPress plugin. It takes about a minute.
- In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin.You need to be an administrator on the site.
- Click Upload Plugin, choose the zip you just downloaded, and click Install Now.
- Click Activate Plugin.That is it. A new item appears under Tools → Migrate to Mainfolk.
Prefer to do it by hand? Unzip the file into your site's wp-content/plugins folder, then activate it from the Plugins screen. Same result.
