How Mainfolk collects, uses, and protects your information.

Last updated: July 2026

Who we are

Mainfolk is a website-builder platform built and operated by Champlin Enterprises, LLC, based in Gurnee, Illinois. This policy explains what information we collect through mainfolk.com and the sites you build with it, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Reach out through our contact page.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the service:

  • Account information you give us when you sign up — name, email address, and organization.
  • Site content you create in the builder — pages, posts, images, and other content for your website.
  • Billing information, processed by our payment processor (we don’t store your full card number).
  • Basic usage and analytics data — pages visited, actions taken, and device/browser information.
  • Server logs — IP address, timestamps, and request data, kept for security and troubleshooting.

How we use it

We use the information above to provide and improve the service, process payments, send transactional email (like sign-in links and receipts) and, if you’ve opted in, marketing email, and to keep the platform secure and reliable.

Third parties & subprocessors

We rely on a small set of trusted vendors to run Mainfolk:

  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Mailgun — transactional and marketing email delivery.
  • Cloudflare and our hosting provider — hosting, CDN, and security.
  • Pulse, our own first-party analytics, plus Google Analytics only if a site owner chooses to enable it on their own site.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your session, and, where applicable, analytics cookies to understand how the service is used.

Data retention

We keep your account and site data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we’ll remove it within a reasonable time, except where we’re required to keep records for legal or accounting reasons.

Your choices & rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time — just contact us. You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in any message we send.

Children

Mainfolk isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll post the update here with a new “last updated” date above.
